You know, it was one of those days on list
when the literary influences of "Buffy the
Vampire Slayer" became a topic. I recall I
said then to someone in an aside that the
punks in "A Nightmare Before Christmas"
could do with being far more Jonsonian.

I paid to see WIlly Wonka at the cinema,
and the copy I saw of "A Nightmare Before
Christmas" was an original bought over the
counter, so it's not like I'm some sniping
freeloader, reliant on subscribers, license
payers or commercial his tricks for my info
and ensuing opinion.

Most of his stuff I've found rather tedious
though, and not worth the time spent
viewing; although I thought "Betegeuse"
showed some promise at the time. But
"Mars Attacks" simply failed to grab, let
alone hold, my interest.

It's not like I'd offer an unqualified opinion.

Can't claim to like "The Simpsons" much
though.
