Ok, i'm going for a dual core 64 bit 4000+ Athlon AMD computer.Gig of
ram.350 gig ATA hard drive computer.

I'm going to be editing stuff at film rez 2048x1536.32 bit PNG
sequential files.

will the computer specs be enough for editing files at that rez? Will
it grind to a halt.Or the fact that i'm shifting sequential png files
at just over a meg or two instead of an avi file over a gig going to
do me a few favours?

what would be the optimal computer specs for handling film rez
sequential stuff from
2k to 4k?The load wouId change with openexr sequence files and all
that extra information, but could a desktop computer today handle
that? know you probably got asked this before, but i thought it was
relevant as we enter the 64 bit era.I haven't asked about graphics
cards because that's a can of worms...

ark.
