Hi Woody Allen community,

for a school project I am looking for the scripts of the short plays
"Death" and "God", both to be found in his book "Without feathers". I
know I could simply type them into the computer but it would be way
more convenient to download them from somewhere... so far I haven't
been able to find anything online.
Can someone help me with this?

Many thanks in advance,

Alexander from Austria

Even if you do find it, be careful:

I imagine you'd be OK since you're a student, probably not making any
money off of it, and not in the USA, though.

But in any case, no, I have not seen it available in downloadable form
anywhere. Many, many years ago two friends and I did "My Apologies"
from "Side Effects" for a talent show, and I ended up typing up the
whole thing for us to use as a script.

You could also use a scanner and OCR software to mostly take care of
the task of typing it in for you.

hi!

thanks for your reply and comment on this. i have come to terms with
typing it myself. it won't hurt and just take a few hours...
but what's the hassle with performing it? we will of course claim the
two planned performances with the writer's guild of this country and
they are networking with the US. i thought that these places were
actually there to spare allen's lawzers the hassle of dealing with
every single individuum on the planet who wants to stage something.

so i don't think we are taking a risk if we do everything the official
way. it will be a student production, however there will be a minute
monetary exchange as it will take place in a community theatre here in
europe. we estimate approx. 200 USD income from this.

comments welcome anytime, cheers
