"Krakatoa, East of Java".
1921: MASAO IMAFUKU, who played Izumi High Priest Tengan Kokto in
"Godzilla vs. the Cosmic Monster", is born in Fukuoka.
1936: MICHIO MIKAMI is born. She helped build the sets of "Godzilla:
King of the Monsters", "Rodan", "The Mysterians", "The Whale God",
"Gammera the Invincible", "Gamera vs. Barugon", and "Gamera vs. Gaos"
before becoming production designer on "Light-Speed Esper", "Yongary:
Monster from the Deep", "Kamen Rider", "Kamen Rider V3", "Inazuman",
and "Message from Space".

the Cosmic Monster", is born in Seoul.
1952: KAORI MOMOI, who played Detective Ishizu in "Pyrokinesis", is
born in Tokyo. She was also in "Izo".
1953: NAGARE HAGIWARA, who played Yoda in "Sukeban Deka: Counter-
attack from the Kazama Sisters", is born in Tokyo.
1956: YOSHIKO TANAKA, who was Asuka Okochi in "Godzilla vs. Biollante"
and "Godzilla vs. Mothra: The Battle for Earth", is born in Tokyo. She
also played Akiko Miyaji in "Ringu 0".
1957: MICHAEL SPOUND, who played Dave in “The Ring”, is born. He also
appeared on the TV series "Hotel".
1963: YUREI YANAGI, who played Okazaki in "Ringu" and "Ringu 2" and
Toshio's teacher Shunsuke Kobayashi in “Ju-on” and “Ju-on 2”, is born
in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
1967: PIERRE TAKI, who played Tokutaro Taguchi in "Lorelei: The Witch
of the Pacific Ocean", is born Masanori Taki in Shizuoka, Japan. He
