No they weren't, They Incredible Ageing Woman was the biggest liability in
those movies.

Yes they were... and it appears the same with #3.. The Spidey movies will
only fit into the second tier of comic book flicks. The top shelf reserved
for Batman Begins, and X Men 1 & 2.

how can you call her that, she has been acting for a long time and still
looks young. she looks the same as when she was in "interview with a
vampire", but now she's taller and more bumpy.

Nope Spiderman 1 and 2 are every bit as good as the others.

Nope ... I disagree. The problem with the Spidey movies is that they're a
little too ... fluffy. There's too much sentimentalising and Raimi can't
handle it. The emotional scenes are so wet, and not in that cheesily cool
homo-erotic LOTR kinda way.
The action scenes, however, are excellent, but it's the drama that will
botch them for me. The X-men movies had the sense to keep the melodrama in
the background.

Well I don't care anywhere near enough to argue about the merits of the
movies, but the fact is Dunst was a liability.

No she doesn't. She looks 50.

And she looks 50.
The quality to her face that made her work so well in Interview With the
Vampire - the fact that she looked like a child but also looked ancient - is
working against her now. She has looked horrible for a few years.
