"The Simpsons Movie" is everything you expect it to be; it's funny,
entertaining, but its not your typical cartoon because of its adult
content. This 18 year TV sitcom has finally made its way to the big
screen with a blast, reflecting 18 years of bliss, drama, and
laughter. Parents, beware The Simpsons Movie is not for the children.
Its adult content consists of thematic subjects of homosexuality,
genitalia, profanity, and violence. With that said, movie goers, and
Simpson fans can look forward to a bundle of fun and laughs when
viewing 20th Century Fox's newest release of "The Simpsons Movie."

The television icon of this weekly TV sitcom "The Simpsons" comes into
full bloom, bliss and excitement in this newest release of "The
Simpsons Movie". The movie opens with the appearance of our most
beloved, and awkward father Homer Simpson telling the audience how
dumb they are for paying for a movie that they can see for free. The
appearance of his son, Bart, and the rest of the Simpson clan also
bring on a bundle of cheer as well. And a mouse that is trapped on the
moon because of Homer Simpson, the mouse has vowed revenge. These two
opening scenes delightfully usher the viewer to the main course of
this animated feature "The Simpons Movie."

The vocal talents of the cast are splendid along with well-done
colorful animation that is an eye catcher for the children watching
this movie. The Simpson Movie offers a good storyline, and plot that
keeps our attention to say the least, however, as I mentioned earlier
it is the adult content that disturbs me, and a very insulting
portrait of what a is supposed to be a wholesome nuclear family
framework. The Simpson Movie not only insults the family values, but
also does a good job of presenting a decay of morality of the family.
As you can already see what my final recommendation for this movie
will be.

In this movie, the town of Springfield home of the Simpson family has
become the subject, and governmental precaution of a terribly tainted,
and damaged environment. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has
stepped in to please the town of Springfield on quarantine because
Homer Simpson has adapted a new pet/ pig, and built a waste deposal
tank for himself, and his new pet. After repeated warnings by the
government to the residents of Springfield to avoid dumping waste in
the local river Homer violated the warning, and deposes his tank of
human and animal waste into the river causing an environmental
catastrophe.

When the river becomes hazardous, the government closes the town of
Springfield, and plans to destroy all of its inhabitants. Homer, and
his family decides to leave his home town when the residents get wind
that he is the cause of their intoxicated town that's now on the brink
of total destruction by the government. Later, Homer and his family
leave Springfield, and get the news that the government plans to
destroy Springfield and everyone in it. Homer develops a plan to save
his hometown.

Inclosing I've pretty much expressed my feelings about "The Simpsons
Movie." It's a very funny and entertaining animated movie to say the
least. As I mentioned earlier, "The Simpson Movie" is not for
children, and it is my recommendation that children should not see
this movie for its sexual themes, vulgar language, and violence. The
adults and Simpson fans will find this movie quite enjoyable.
