I remember this quote from a 1975-1980 Woody Allen movie:
"If you can make it in Ames, Iowa, you can make anywhere."
Some man had moved to Manhattan, and was talking to a clerk in a
store. He said he sold a sucessful business in Ames, Iowa. Now he
was going to try in NY.
The clerk said "If you can make it in Ames, Iowa, you can make
anywhere."
Anyone remember the movie, and approximate time the line occured?
Thanks
