Okay, I hear you're looking for short scripts to film. Give us a clue
as to what you may be llooking for - whether genre, tone, what you
have to work with (ie settings, people who will pich in, etc). And
how many pages.

I'm guessing maybe an atmospheric beach party that erupts into
violence, bloodshed, and mayhem. Or a tender love story of the gruff
New Joisey plumber who takes his cheesy-diner-shortorder-cook bride to
Florida for their honeymoon...

I have nothing. Ive got a bunch of gear and enough friends to operate
all the gear properly. I can get actors. Since I gotta feed and fill
up the actors cars with gas, and maybe pay em I cant afford anymore
than 1 or two real actors. Im still at square one. I cant round up
actors until I have a script to show them.

I have received a few good scripts from MWS&M regs already, but Ive
been swamped with work. and now my vacation that I thought was gonna
be two months, is now down to one month left. Im gonna try and not
work. But its hard to say no when your phone rings and the person on
the line wants to hire you to do what love doing.

What am I looking for? That same one true sentence that Papa was
looking for in Paris.

How about a short about NJ zombie housewives? Say, 10-15 minutes?

Well, since you are a zombie housewife, albeit without a wife, if you move
to NJ it just might work. Or he can film in Canada....

Okay, here we go.

Since Duck punches women, working title: "Duck and the Punch Drunk Canadian
Housefrau."

Alan's role seems to be writing itself.

This could work. I grew up in Jersey, and the Jersey Shore is one
haunted stretch of sand. Okay, so the sign reads Welcome to Asbury
Park. The zombie housewive look like ordinarypod-people carrying
groceries home. Another day in paradise. Then, after dinner, the sun
is setting. I can see the zombie housewives dropping dishes in the
sink, and taking to the streets at night, softly walking down the
street in lockstep. Then they pass under a banner which reads: The
Boss Is Back! And the women start to turn into drooling maniacs as
they stagger-run towards The Stone Pony. Security is no match for
these undead women determined to get a bite of Bruce. Bloodshe and
mayhem; the zombies strangle security guards with aprons and stab them
with BBQ implements. Once inside, more murderous blood-soaked events
as the ladies storm the stage.

We can call it Waiting For the Boss, since the guy doesn't show up.
And the ladiesinvade backstage, go on a total rampage, maybe a roadie
takes mics off the chicken-foot stands and impales zombies.

Okay, nuffa that. We could give the zombies tap shoes, could be fun
in the lockstep bit.
