Archived from groups: alt>movies>david-lynch (more info?)

Todd McGowan, one of my professors at The University of Vermont,
recently wrote The Impossible David Lynch. it is being published in a
month or two. I read and edited a manuscript for him last year and
was immensely pleased. I've been a fan of Lynch and a reader of
psychoanalysis and film theory for some time. McGowan analysis each
of Lynch's films through the lens of a thesis he sets up involving
Lynch's treatment of fantasy/the real.
I apologize if i am vague or if this message comes of as lacking
coherence. This is my first post to this group - i just wanted to
make you all aware of this impending publication. it revolutionized
my view of Lynch and provided me with a greater appreciation of his
work (and my professor's theoretical abilities!)
