Does anyone hear recommend this set?

A quick search of AMS will answer your question about the Laughsmith
set. You might want to check out ReelclassicDVD's 3-volume Our Gang
set that was released a couple years ago. They're good transfers off
good 16mm prints with new theatre organ scores.
