I suppose. It just bore no relation to anything that I asked. And it
wasn't a "tip" it was a question. |

Your post alerted me to the existence of this film on DVD. I went to
Netflix, it was there, and I dropped it in my queue. I thanked you for the
tip.
Does that clear up any confusion?

You left out "brilliant" and "devilishly handsome". Aside from that...no
argument.

It's just so lovely when someone starts a thread, asks a question, and
the response has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the original
question. One wonders if people who respond like that are brain dead,
stupid, ignorant, or all three. No need to wonder with this person.
It's obvious and clear. |

Here is your original post.
"Finally coming out on DVD. Somehow I've never seen it. Any comments?"
My post provided info about the DVD availability, which is both a "comment"
(responsive to your question) and directly addresses the subject of your
post (Bunuel DVD). To wit:
"Available through Netflix. Thanks for the tip."
So how can you claim that my response " has absolutely nothing whatsoever to
do with the original question"?
Frankly, I think you have nothing to be upset about.

Are you actually serious? Can you be that anally-retentive? Anyone
with a grade school education would have understand "Any comments" to
mean comments about the film. It was obvious from my the first part of
my post that I already knew it was coming out on DVD so your "comment"
was redundant and unnecessary. But I suspect you know that ... you're
just being an arsehole. Duly noted. |

We know one thing. You sure know how to beat a dead horse.
You know exactly what kinds of comments I was looking for and you
didn't provide them. Why you just can't be a man and admit that you
were just being a snarky, pain in the arse, is beyond me. But go away
already. You're boring. |

"Out on DVD" and "Netflix available" are two different things (Netflix
doesnt carry everything). So, in fact, I provided additional info
(potentially helpful to some people), and even graciously thanked you for
calling my attention to the DVD release. In return, you essentially called
me "brain dead, stupid, ignorant". If you read you own post, you would see
that "Any comments?" (an open ended "question") can refer to any subject
matter therein. My comment clearly meets that test. For pointing that out,
Im now called "anally-retentive" and an "arsehole". I think what's clear is
that you're both wrong and unjustifiably rude and insulting.

Let me just re-post that "snarky, pain in the arse" comment, so that anyone
who might be reading can judge.
"Available through Netflix. Thanks for the tip."
