Are We Assuming A Christmas Release Date...

What do you think? Are we going to get a Christmas release date for
"The Departed?" Or might the studio hope for a fall release in the
hopes that it will trounce any competition for weeks on end? I'm
presuming there's no chance for a summer release. But I could
certainly be wrong.
