Vapor", Prime Minister Seki in "Gorath", and the Chairman of the Earth
Committee in "Godzilla vs. Monster Zero", is born in Hokkaido. The
father-in-law of Minoru Chiaki and grandfather of Katsuhiko Sasaki, he
was also in "Don't Call Me a Con Man".
1899: EDWARD G. BOYLE, set decorator for "The Beast from 20,000
Fathoms", is born in Cobden, Ont.
1906: TERRY O. MORSE, director of the American-filmed scenes in
"Godzilla, King of the Monsters", is born in St. Louis.
1927: KOTARO TOMITA, who played a villager in "Ghidrah, the Three-
Headed Monster", the lead Seatopian agent in "Godzilla vs. Megalon",
and Professor Ota in "Terror of Mechagodzilla", is born in Kumamoto-
Ken, Japan.
1928: TATSUO ENDO, who played Gunjuro in "Daimajin", is born in Kyoto.
1949: JIRO DAN, who played Hideki Go a.k.a. Ultraman Jack on "Return
of Ultraman", "Ultraman Mebius", "Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman
Brothers", and "The Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers", is born in Kyoto.
He also played George Gamou in the original unaired pilot of
"Spectreman" and Ikki Kasumi on "Ninja Task Force Hurricanger".
