1915: ANNE NAGEL, who played the brunette at the bar in "Mighty Joe
Young", is born in Boston. Her other films include "Here Comes Carter"
and "Armored Car Robbery".


1933: The original "King Kong" is released in France.


1946: HAYATO TANI, who played Captain Sanjuro Sagata on "Aura Task
Force Maskman", is born in Nagasaki.


1965: "Ghidrah: The Three-Headed Monster" is released in the U.S.



1968: Episode 3 of “Operation: Mystery” debuts on Japanese TV.

1972: Episode 26 of "Transforming Ninja Arashi" debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 26 of "Ultraman Ace", "Total Annihilation! The Five
Ultraman Brothers", debuts on Japanese TV.

1973: Episode 20 of "Kikaida 01", "Outrage: The Identity of Shadow's
Leader Revealed", debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 33 of "Kamen Rider V3", "V3 in Danger! Riders One and Two
Return!!", debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 25, the final episode of "Storm Cloud Lion Maru", "The
Fall of the Empire", debuts on Japanese TV.

1977: JONATHAN LEEDER, casting associate on the U.S. version of "Dark
Water", is born in Philadelphia.

1979: Episode 35 of "Battle Fever J", “Hunger Panic”, debuts on
Japanese TV.

1993: GORDON DOUGLAS, who directed "Them!", dies of cancer in Los
Angeles.

1995: Episode 30 of "Superpower Squadron Ohranger", "The Earth is
Snoring", debuts on Japanese TV.

2004: Episode 26 of "Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy", "The Door to
Nothingness", debuts on TV Tokyo.

2005: "One Missed Call" has a limited release in Portugal.
The U.S. version of "Dark Water" is released in Greece and
Singapore.

2006: "The Host" premieres in the U.S. at the New York Film Festival.

2008: Episode 26 of "Power Rangers Jungle Fury", "Don't Blow That
Dough", debuts on U.S. TV.
