"Atragon", is born in Kobe. The jazz drummer-turned-actor also starred
in "Fearful Invasion of the Flying Saucers", and played Dr. Yuzo
Kawaji in "Frankenstein Conquers the World", project leader Dr. Kusumi
in "Son of Godzilla", and Chief Hosono in "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla
II". He is the father of actors Masahiro and Masanobu Takashima.
1949: HIROSHI KATSUNO, who played Yoichi Kawazu in "Deathquake", is
born in Kumamoto, Japan. He was also in "Izo".

1963: DONNIE YEN, action choreographer on "The Princess Blade", is
born in Canton, China. The martial arts actor was also in "Key
Witness", "Once Upon a Time in China II", "Highlander: Endgame",

the Wolf".

Brunswick, N.J.

Japan. He also wrote and directed the short films "Elevator",
"Enlightenment", and "Waiting Time" on "Tales of Terror from Tokyo:

TAKAKO FUJI, who played Kayako Saeki in "Ju-on", "Ju-on
2", "Ju-on: The Grudge", "Ju-on: The Grudge 2", "The Grudge", "The
Grudge 2", and “Ju-on: Old Lady in White”, and Rika in "The iDol", is
born in Tokyo.
1973: Episode 43 of "Warrior of Love Rainbowman", "I Swear by the Sun

1982: RYOSAKU TAKAYAMA, monster designer on "Gammera the Invincible",
"Destroy All Planets", "Gamera vs. Guiron", "Gamera vs. Monster X",
and "Gamera vs. Zigra", dies.
1984: ALJIN ABELLA, who played Theo Martin the Blue Jaguar Ranger on
"Power Rangers Jungle Fury", is born in the Philippines.
1985: SHIGERU AMACHI, who played Shiro Shimizu in "Jigoku" and Iuemon
Tamiya in "The Ghost of Yotsuya", dies in Tokyo. He was born in 1931
in Tokyo.
1986: AYAKA KOMATSU, who plays Minako Aino a.k.a. Sailor V/Sailor
Venus on "Pretty Guaridan Sailor Moon", as well as singing on the
show, is born.
1987: Episode 19 of "Super Manchine: Metalder", "The Triumphal Return
