Hi

Is there an easy way to upgrade kernel from 2.6.26 to 2.6.28 without burning
new CD?

I was looking for apt-get ??? but could not find any.

Regards
John

There's non need to reinstall the whole system on a kernel update.

Couldn't you just download the kernel on www.kernel.org and recompile it by
yourself? You could try a newer version, also.

Or try using 'testing' repositories. But I'd prefer the first way.

Sure, install a kernel from kernel.org. You might find the following
helpful:

You're right. I rebuilt my kernel so many times n testing (even using .30-
rc's) so I forgot which kernel has testing by default.

Sorry for the mistake.
