Archived from groups: linux>debian>ports>ia64 (more info?)

So my first problem:

$ convert bsdcan2007/output/graph.ps bsdcan2007/output/graph.jpg
convert: no decode delegate for this image format `bsdcan2007/output/graph.ps'.

Looking at the build logs for imagemagick:

http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?&pkg=imagemagick&ver=7%3A6.2.4.5.df...-1&arch

I can see the EPDF parts of the testsuite failing. So I try to run gs
manually. And I get a segfault.

Right, next step, run it under gdb. Unfortunately ...

$ gdb /usr/bin/gs
GNU gdb 6.5-debian
Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This GDB was configured as "ia64-linux-gnu"...BFD: /usr/bin/gs: don't
know how to handle OS specific section `.gnu.hash' [0x6ffffff6]
"/usr/bin/gs": not in executable format: File format not recognized

Now I'm feeling persecuted by my tools ;-(
