Thanks, I fixed it.
Since you reported already a few useful typos and probably translate
actively into Japanese maybe it would be a good idea to grant you write
access to CVS? Do you want this?

I'm not sure that this is wrong. Please note that the original English
document mentions 11 o'clock CEST, UCT +0200, which is probably indeed
12 o'clock in the eastern Finland. Adding one hour timeshift should
result in UTC+3.

I didn't bumped the version header of finnish/News/2005/20050920.wml so
that the translator needs to touch this file ...

It just says that EEST equals to UTC +0300 which is true. In English
original it says CEST equals to UTC +0200 which is also true.

And that just means that EEST is different timezone than CEST. Smile

yes, I've translated all News/\d+/* pages
that are untranslated for years, + a few other pages.
it would be nice to have it
so I could make/keep new/changed pages to follow #98811 (XHTML 1)
because I like valid xhtml Wink

Hi tomos,

since you committed already many Japanese translations of victory and
know his work much better than I do you agree on this?

I can only object on English patches sent in by him, which sometimes
fixes really really tricky stuff (such as voting results Smile.

PS: Can you please check the Japanese translation coordinator list on
http://www.debian.org/devel/website/translation_coordinators. IIRC at
least one of both is not very responsive so that it make sense to add
yourself to it.

Yes, He is good and dedicated translator. Please add him.

I could not find a name of a currently Japanese main web committer,
Nobuhiro IMAI in the list. So it may be as well to add his name to
english/devel/website/tc.data file.

Cheers,
tomos

can you please grant victory for Japanese translations webwml CVS access?
victory, please follow the steps described in
http://people.debian.org/~joey/misc/webwml.html and send Joey a
preferred account name together with your encrypted password in a
private mail.

Please do so. I remember problems contacting Kubota (he was busy) long
time ago that's why I asked ...
