write a xlib simple textbox application

hi all i need to understand the basic lines on how to write a simple textbox with xlib without using widgets the argument is so difficult i have tried to read x11 documentation that i decide to ask to you before: is there an example code that show me how to start? naturally i m not a complete xlib newbie so don t worry about explanations with regards

Session management

There are a couple of ways to do this The first being the easiest you can go into your kcontrol to your session manager and check the box that says restore with previous session so as long as that app was running when you rebooted KDE it would restart that application upon restart Now it you wanted that specific application to start each time with out having to restore the entire session
