I'm having problems after a new install of 2007.0
As soon as I run /etc/init.d/pcmcia (or any other pcmcia related emerge)
, my system freezes.
I've tried manipulating my kernel but no avail.
I'm running a Toshiba Tecra A7
Inserting a cf card via pcmcia adapter into the slot is recognised
according to `dmesg`, however `fdisk -l ` doesn't know about it.
Similarly a pcmcia-scsi card inserted seems to be recognised according
to `dmesg` but the scsi is not known
any ideas
