Archived from groups: linux>debian>maint>boot (more info?)

I'm using the weekly snapshot to install a system with expertgui and manual
partitioning.

I set up a boot partition on sda5, and two volumes for encryption on sda6
and sda7. (Keeping the prefab windows volumes on sda1 & sda2 to play
games.)

Then I click "configure encrypted volumes." The boot partition formats, but
when it goes to erase data on the partitions for encrypted volumes, the
message in the candy-cane progress bar is correct, but the message below the
progress bar still reads "Creating ext3 file system for /boot in partition
#5 of SCSI2 (0,0,0) (sda)..."
