Why won't it start? Maybe a video configuration problem?

It never failed, it never ran. I just downloaded and installed KDE4 from
Yast Suse KDE repository using gnome. |

Why does Gnome and Kde3 run ok but not kde4 which never ran
since I installed it. |

Which distribution are you using? Which version of that? Which
version of kde4?
How did you install kde4 (using the distribution's package manager
for using packages from kde.org)?
Are any useful error messages showing up in ~/.xsession-errors?
