I've recently "upgraded" to KDE4 in Debian, and knode no longer seems to
have an option for the layout of the groups, message pane and threads. So I
have a groups list with a 200x800 pixel rectangle of nothingness. Back in
the olden days of 3.x I had the panes arranged so that the groups list only
occupied a small part of the window, wasting far less space, and the thread
and viewer panes were side by side.
