I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 with an Intel 915M graphics chipset and ever
since I upgraded to Fedora 10, I've gotten a flicker/screen distortion
upon logging in and when running some/most Gnome programs.
I've heard this is likely caused by the latest driver from Intel and
some people say that I can use "nomodeset" boot options and it'll cease
that but I'm still having the issue.
I can boot off of a Ubuntu live CD(8.x I think) and I get no issues but
I'm also not sure which driver they're using.
Anyone else have this problem and if so how were you able to fix it?
