Hi,
Ive got Mysql 5.0.27 on a CentOS. When I try to start the httpd server
I get the following error
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 190 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_auth_mysql.so into server:
libmysqlclient.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

Ive got mod_auth_mysql-2.6.1-2.2
Ive got httpd-2.0.52-12.ent.centos4

Thanks
Danish

Or you have a mismatch..I had similar issues trying to get Mysql and PHP
running with apache 1.3..stumbled and bumbled my way through it..there
are warnings about double loading one module..but it works..now!

I had various versions that didn't work that patched httpd.conf and
unpatched it..and so on.

Can't remember the details.
Google it all and sit down and puzzle it out I am afraid..

I got the error...I had missed out on some MySQL libraries. Im afraid
Im not able to recall the name of the rpm file which fixed it all, but
I do remember downloading a file which had the libmysqlclient.so.14

Thanks
