I have a problem with a script refering to several tools, one is "hd"
-snip-
TESTECHO="$($ECHO -e '\061\062' \
| hd \
| grep -Eom1 '^[[digit:]]+[[:space:]]+[[digit:]]+[[:space:]]+[[digit:]]+' \
| tr -s '\t ' ' '
-snip-
Searching has proved fruitless, I *think* it may be a Debian tool/script.
Any pointers ? Please !!!

It's a symlink to hexdump on debian machines.
