Hi all
I got 2 problems,

1)
I successfully emerged the nvidia-kernel but
I can't load it to memory..
=======
# modprobe nvidia
FATAL: Error inserting nvidia
(/lib/modules/2.6.7-gentoo-r11/video/nvidia.ko): Invalid module format
=======

2)
Since I'm using XOrg-x11, I can't emerge nvidia-glx..
=======
# emerge nvidia-glx
Calculating dependencies ...done!

!!! Error: the x11-base/xorg-x11 package conflicts with another package.
!!! both can't be installed on the same system together.
!!! Please use 'emerge --pretend' to determine blockers.
=======
# emerge -p nvidia-glx

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[blocks B ] x11-base/xorg-x11 (from pkg x11-base/xfree-4.3.0-r6)
[blocks B ] x11-base/xorg-x11 ("virtual/x11" from pkg
x11-base/xfree-4.3.0-r6)
[ebuild N ] app-arch/cabextract-1.0
[ebuild N ] x11-base/xfree-4.3.0-r6
[ebuild N ] media-video/nvidia-glx-1.0.4496
========
I have a GeForce2 MX/MX 400 & 2.6 kernel.
How can use nvidia module on my system?
Thanks,
kesara
