hi

i've got a asus aj8s (intel duo t7200) notebook with debian etch
(2.6.18-4). apparantly kernels from 17-19 dont work with cpufreq. is their a fix or at least a other way of reducing the processor speed?

thanks

Indeed. You may also want to install a kernel version 2.6.21 or newer since
it seems to be significantly more power-efficient.
Debian has a prebuilt 2.6.21 package available (which I use).
