getting /right click/save to download folder/ to download ..

On linux with opera 9, When I right click and save a mpg the downlaod
screen pops up.

On windows opera it just downloads in the background.

How can I teach linux opera to do the same.

If I am downloading say 10 mpg from a page, it is annoying to have to
minimize the download progress page every time.

Also.

When saving web pages I always use "html with images" in the
dropdown. How do I teach opera linux to make this the default?

The "view" dropdown of the toolbar of the transfer window contains a
setting for whether to display the transfer window on new transfers.
(At least, it looks that way in my copy right now).
