Hi all,

is there any reason why:

$ grep -i IPV6_ROUTER_PREF /boot/config-2.6.18-4-686
# CONFIG_IPV6_ROUTER_PREF is not set

isn't enabled in the standard kernel config (Debian Etch)? And 2nd
question: What to do to get this enabled? Recompiling kernel packages
and all depending packages is not an option for me.

Regards
Friedemann

did you try using modconf ?
try apt-get install modconf , if i am not wrong you should enable in
modules , in the case that may be a standard kernel module .

You should probably ask that on debian-kernel, they'll know more.

File a bug, but I'm afraid it's going to be too late now.
