Archived from groups: opera>linux (more info?)

On several occasions recently, I have loaded
web pages that I have never visited before
(one example today http://hulu.com/), with
images set to "cached images," and Opera
(9.63 at the present time) semms to ignore
my wishes and loads a bunch of images anyway.

Why?

But surely "cached images" should restrict what javascript can do,
too?

I agree. Opera allows the user to restrict a number
of javascript functions. Those potential restrictions
should include loading images.
