Hello,
We have been having this ongoing issue on some of our Sun x4100
hardware (Dual Opterons 280's, 16GB ram RHEL 4 AS) in which the system
will sit idle with no CPU activity and have a load of 3 consistently.
This is occurring on random servers web, db etc but there is no
pattern to it. We have a ticket in with Sun on the problem but haven't
received much feedback at the moment. I also did check out the web and
only found an similar issue in which it involved a sun x4200 and there
is an issue with HAL, RHEL 4 and virtual devices. Does anyone know if
this may be the issue or what the issue could be?
