What is the difference between LVM Mirroring and
Raid 1 for disk failure recovery in RHEL5? Are there advantages
of one over the other? Either technique would use LVs, right?

xen guest OS's would run over the top of mirrored disks by either
LVM or RAID 1, right?

My concern is concentrating my points of failure to host OS
disk drives, if I move production servers to guest OS's. With
separate hardware for each server my points of disk failure
are less concentrated. One disk failure takes down just
one server rather than 4 servers.

TIA
