Slack 13.0 KDE menu

Hello there,

It seems not possible to modify the KDE menu in Slack 13.0 (as user or
root).

I have try to add/modify icons for menu items or add new menu items, the
modification appear in the menu editor, then I save and I restart the
session....

Then any modification is lost !

I have search for some read only files but without success...

Anyway to solve the problem ?

Nota : This 13.0 release of Slackware start to make me nervous.... It is the
first time since 1995 when I start Linux Slackware with a Infomagic cd !

Editing the menu has worked fine for me by right-clicking on the Kickoff
icon and selecting the Menu Editor. I have edited and added a few things
there, and had no trouble dong so from a regular user.
