Archived from groups: linux>redhat>rpm (more info?)

Hey,

I had a question about how to retrieve the SHA checksum from the RPM
database of a installed pkg?

Example:
This is a header snippet from a primary.xml:
<checksum type="sha"
pkgid="YES">864e1868a1191a3561db2c0a30160d6fa951f063</checksum>

After installation of this package, I can't find this checksum
anywhere in the rpm database. Initially I thought
the RPM tag HDRID corresponded with the sha checksum, but this is a
totally different checksum. So i'm
kind of lost. Is the checksum not stored or changed when installing a
RPM...?

Thanks already,

With kind regards

Michel
