I had a hard disk crash a few days and had to reinstall (Debian Sid).
My printer is a Brother HL5240 laser.
I normally use lprng + magicfilter which has always worked perfectly for
me. Now printing failed, using the Brother-supplied filter, but it
worked with the ljet4 filter from magicfilter. (Don't understand this;
the Brother filter used to work.)
So far so good, But I can't print remotely from another computer on the
network, which used to work. I keep getting "connection refused".
I have added the client machine to /etc/hosts.allow without effect. Any
suggestions?
