I've got and old three processor EV4 box running Debian Linux that ran
classic Seti@home when it was last used in anger.

We may be running it as a server again, and as it will be up 24/7 it
would be nice to have it do something useful.

Are there any public good projects that still use this platform ?

Cheers, J/.

Grid Server Search for cure to Cancer ends phase, but, more in works,

Search for Einstein predicted Gravity Waves - Their
distributed-computing scheme, set to launch this month, aims to be one
of the largest projects of its kind ever created. (...)

You know how to search google for "Distributed Computing",,,

For Alpha CPUs ?

We were in the top 350 contributors to this one, and it was great, but
it ended in April and never worked on Alphas !

Don't see anything about Alpha CPU ?

I do, but as reliable up to date Alpha stuff is thin on the ground, I
though I'd ask where there might still be some Alpha users. Some of the
material out there looks as if it mat predate the end of Classic Seti.
