Archived from groups: uk>comp>os>linux (more info?)

I have a Logitech mouse with four buttons, buttons 1 to 3 do the
conventional things but I had programmed button 4 to emulate a double
click of button 1 under Ubuntu 8.10 (well, xubuntu 8.10 actually but
near enough). I did it using the description at:-
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1003720

I have just upgraded to xubuntu 9.04 and it has hijacked my button 4,
clicking on button 4 now scrolls (in Firefox and terminals at least).

Does anyone know where/how 9.04 has re/deprogrammed my mouse button
and how I can tell it to stop so that I can get my double-click back?
