FYI, as of linux-image-2.6.22-1-powerpc, CONFIG_ADB_PMU_LED is enabled,
so this can be enabled at runtime by writing 'ide-disk' into
class/leds/pmu-front-led/trigger, e.g. via sysfsutil's /etc/sysfs.conf.

BTW, does anyone happen to know whether CONFIG_ADB_PMU_LED would work in
the powerpc64 kernels as well, e.g. on G5s?

I see, thanks. I'll leave it to owners of PMU based G5s to ask for it
then. Smile
