I just got a Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R Rev 1.1 motherboard, is there a
version of Suse that supports the Intel ICH9R controller on this board?
The issue is apparently the SATA controller in a non-RAID
configuration, I tried to install Suse with the download CDs and it
won't recognize the drives, I am going to play with the BIOS
configuration & see what happens, there are some settings for the
storage type. The SUSE HCL on their web site is useless, appears to be
not just out of date but way out of date.
The rest of the PC is pretty standard, Intel CD2 E6400 2.4Ghz
processor, 4GB of Kingston PC6400 RAM, EVGA 8800 GTS video board.
