Your "mantras" are your mini-blurbs you show a very, very poor understanding
of. Then again, you support your points poorly in general.

Earlier this year I bought a Dell mini 9 with Ubuntu...I had it for a
few months until it was stolen from me in downtown Seattle (snatched
as I was typing at a park table!)

Anyway, I had signed up back then for a Google Group about the Dell
Mini with Ubuntu. I hadn't been getting my mail from this group
because I had a spam filter blocking it...but then I changed how I
handle my mail (turned the back end spam filter off and used
Thunderbird) and to my surprise I started getting 20 emails a day from
the Ubuntu Dell Mini forum!!

I'd say, if anything, the press has been suppressing the high number
of people here in the U.S. who want, bought and use Linux especially
on netbooks.

Following statement from a Linux advocate sums up Snit's trolling quite
nicely:

105- Sermo Malifer (COLA):
Snit: "Why do so many people in COLA argue *against* me..."
Sermo Malifer: "Because you're a narcissistic troll who posts trash just
to get people talking about you." 21 Jan 2009

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.os.linux.advocacy/msg/5ddf14f502e9b3f1

But you are correct. Snit brings up and also falsifies minor issues,
making them into big ones. Best example is talking trash about copying
and pasting. Rather than being a storehouse of knowledge one would
expect from a so called higher learning professor of IT (which I gather
Snit must be an imposter of), we have someone who kludges together
altered evidence on his website, posting them as absolute truth as troll
bait for discussion. Then bends the discussion toward being about Snit
and supporting the worst trolls in COLA.

You are also correct on the magnitude of issues, one being Microsoft's
continued history of anti-competitive conduct to ensure its continued
presence in the market place. For example:

Not surprising to me here in Australia.

Were you able to identify this Microsoft Munchkin?

(Hope my little bit of humor is not taken the wrong way; I'm sorry for your
loss.)

Hehe. Well, he should have known better to use Linux in public in
Seattle, just a stones-throw away from Redmond...

Maybe it was Quack, cackling, spittle-flying, raving "Suspend doesn't

Yeah, it's all part of that huge MS conspiracy.

These Linux zealots are just plain nuts.

I'll bet the guy who swiped it tried to fence it but since it was Linux he
couldn't get rid of it so he tossed it in the river or something.

These thieves have to learn to swipe the good laptops.

Hint: look for the Apple logo.

There are things in OSX, that could do with fixing, the most annoying of
these being the wireless drop-outs, does that mean that OSX is broken?

Wireless drop-outs? What wireless drop-outs are you referring to? I've
never experienced one. In my situation wireless is as reliable in OS X
as it is in Windows 7 and\or Linux.

My Lenovo T400 is doing the same thing.
I just upped the power on the wireless to see if changes anything.

The MacBooks have a bit of a quirk that they lose Wireless connection
even with a good signal. The only answer for this is to turn the
wireless off and then turn it back on.

It is annoying, but it is no reason to say that OSX is broken.

The NIH attitude when it comes to video formats is my biggest personal pet
peeve when it comes to MacOS. The last iteration of this general issue was a
refusal by iMovie to use mpeg files extracted from a recently required Sony
Handicam.
