Hi,

I installed FC6 on an external drive to my laptop (IBM T70) and found that
I had to download a seperate software to get its wireless working.
Whereas I install Kubuntu on the same external USB drive and the wireless
just works. Any idea?

Each distro is different - download Slackware and you will have to
compile most WiFi wrappers from scratch.
