Just loaded (clean) Kubuntu 9.04 (had 7.x previously) but no matter what
I do either via the gui or terminal I can't configure dns.
This version appears not to use /etc/resolv.conf & adding one makes no
difference. Adding the relevant to /etc/network/interfaces same.

eth0 is 'up' but dns is bust

Anyone know how dns is managed statically now?
Thks.

Fixed it.
Had to clear out everything by hand & re-configure. Why the resolv.conf
file was broken from a clean install I've no idea. The gui network thingy
seemed to have no effect what so ever.

Always happens when your on a tight deadline doesn't it...
