Feather Linux

Question: Is Feather Linux capable of putting the computer into sleep mode
or hibernate? That is a dealbreaker, for me at least, because I'm the type
that likes to leave the computer running unattended for hours on end, and I
would prefer not to waste too much electricity doing that.

I became disillusioned with Puppy for that reason; it does not appear to
allow suspend or hibernation. bummer.

Never heard of it. I'll never understand why people opt to use any of
the other dozens or hundreds of weirdly named Linux dists out there,
when most (like Slackware, RHEL, CentOS, Debian, Gentoo, Ubuntu, SuSe,
and so many other common one's can accomplish the same goals)? Sorry,
I know that doesn't answer your question, but you're comparing "Puppy"
and "Feather", and it seems extreme and unnecessary, or maybe I'm just
not a part of the culture of people that deal with those dists to
understand why people would try and decide between two that a lot of
people haven't heard of (though most things should essentially be the
same anyway). I just don't get it.
