Position: SW Design Engineer (OpenMax)
Position Description:
As a member of the Audio Visual SW team, you will work on Audio
architecture development. This will involve developing and integrating
OpenMax IL based components. You will be assumed to co-operate with
other integration engineers (supplier/customer), development, SW build
and verification teams.
Requirements:
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Essential:
Typically 3-6 years of experience integrating Multimedia features for
embedded systems.
- Experience with Multimedia frameworks like Symbian MDF, OpenMax IL,
etc.
- Good understanding of Audio system level issues.
- Strong experience in C/C++, embedded systems and real-time operating
systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge of ARM and DSP architectures.
- Test and debugging of algorithms in real-time system.
Desirable:
- Experience in real-time software development for mobile handsets.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Experience in Symbian OS
