A new site to download the latest stable version:
http://software.opensuse.org/

Very good interface to help you download what you want.

There also is a link to http://software.opensuse.org/search, which is
far from perfect. It does NOT replace the repositories and from what I
have seen there is a LOT of work to be done.

I would only use it if I could not find it on my regular repositories.
e.g mutt can be found three times. slrn can not be found at all. It is
also not very clear which version of mutt I should pick.

Use the 'External Software'

I realy like the first link, which is better then
http://software.opensuse.org/expert.html Very Happy

Excellent find! I had just spent an hour searching for a proftpd rpm on the
net and found it in seconds on this site.
