Hi all ,

do you guys know any app that has the ability to do 'single shot' message to Yahoo messenger or google talk ?

example :

appname <myusername> <mypassword> <recipientusername> <message body>

this would rock on monitoring

I agree. I've been doing cursor looks and haven't seen anything yet. I
did look into the Gaim code (as it's plugins support Meanwhile
(SameTime), Jabber, and pretty much everything else). But haven't
gotten anywhere on it yet.

i have wrote one for Google ( in fact for any Jabber based service ) , its now part of my Bosat project , you can
check out last version of this script here :

CLI? Both seem to provide some CLI interface, but neither appear to
support being used from a CLI (i.e. bash/csh/ksh)
