Archived from groups: linux>debian>bugs>dist (more info?)

Package: roundcube
Version: 0.2.1-1
Severity: normal

Display of multipart/mixed messages in roundcube is not correct, for instance in the case of digested mailing lists (eg ubuntu-devel-request DeleteThis @lists.ubuntu.com). A horizontal break is displayed between each message part but the senders details are not shown.

A small section of one offending message is shown between the "SNIP" lines. The display of the first section in the web display starts "Dear Ubuntu Developers" and omits the sender name, subject line and time details etc.

Obviously an upstream issue but I can't see how to lodge a report with Roundcude directly so as the server is running on Debian I'm raising it with you.

Subject: Call for participation on the Mentoring Program

Dear Ubuntu Developpers,

I am contacting you on behalf of the MOTU Mentoring Reception Team.

With the start of the Karmic cycle, it is a great time for each of you
to start to help us in mentoring program
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Mentoring). Indeed we really lack of
mentors both in the junior and the senior step. So please come and
contact us at the reception (you can contact me directly and I'll
forward) we'll be happy to assign you padawan in your domain of
expertise...
Once again we really need you help, since we cannot do this alone ! So
please act !

All the best,

Christophe

Doesn't appear to be any different using that version, still displays just
a horizontal rule between messages and no message header information which
is present in the message source.

Mark.

Hi Mark!

I have no problem to read this attachment with the current
roundcube. However, I have no problem with 0.2.2 either.

You can also try to enable imap_debug option and look at BODYSTRUCTURE
that your IMAP server is sending back. BTW, what is your IMAP server?

If possible, you could try roundcube 0.3.1 which has just been
uploaded. It fixes a problem related to workaround bad BODYSTRUCTURE.
