Hi,

A couple months ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding the
Xorg server sometimes failing to start. Did you reproduce this problem
recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core and
xserver-xorg-video-intel driver?

Thanks,
Brice

Hi,
Yes, the problem still occurs sometimes. But now the problem does not occur as
often as in the beginning. When I reported the bug, the Xorg server failed to
start approximately every fifth time I started the computer. Now it fails about
every 15th time.

Cheers, Marina.

Which xserver-xorg-core and xserver-xorg-video-i810 are you using today?
Could you try xserver-xorg-core 1.3 and xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.0
currently in testing? Or xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.0.0-5 in experimental?

If it still sometimes fails to start, could you save the corresponding
Xorg.0.log (or Xorg.0.log.old if X already restarted) when it happens
and send it here?
