I have a couple of Linux drives that I want to plug into my external drive
enclosure and access the data on them. Right now they are just listed as
having an 'Unknown Filesystem' in the drive manager within Windows XP. Is
there a method for accessing the data this way? Right now I don't have
another machine available to plug the drive into, otherwise I would just use
Samba.
Thanks for any help!

Depends a little on what Linux filesystem is used. There is an MS utility
known as 'explore2fs' or something similar which will (last time I
checked) read-only ext2 or ext3 filesystems. I got it from tucows.

I wouldn't trust WXP not to mess with a Linux filesystem

Boot a live distribution such as Knoppix then copy the data from the USB
drive to wherever. Preferably vfat (FAT32) for compatability sake if
you want to use the data under windoze
